CBS Wine ended the semester with a festival of a wine tasting! There were more than 150 wines to taste, including expensive Barolo, Amarone and Champagne, so for just DKK 50, participating students were in for a treat. We departed from Solbjerg Plads by bus to Kokkedal where the festival was located. A local import company, Erik Sørensen Wine, organized the festival, which meant that the selection of wines was excellent and the actual makers were there to tell us about the manufacturing process. They were extremely passionate about their products, and I definitely felt the tasting was extra special because they were so enthusiastic about describing every wine down to the tiniest detail. It was also quite fun to hear their different accents, from the strong Italian and French to a “howdy cowboy” accent from the States.
