MONDAY / 10th

International Students Ambassadors (ISA) are back with another Karaoke Night to cheer up your Monday. 2 mics and 20,000+ songs made Café Nexus absolutely packed last time!

TUESDAY / 11th

If you’re planning to go on an exchange or just have a flair for languages – join CBS Language Café and get to socialize with other students with interest in the same language. Built to be a social event, it’s a great chance to find yourself a language buddy!

CBS Students are organizing a general assembly to discuss whether an organizational structure change could foster smoother daily operations. Mainly, during the event you will hear the proposed amendments and will have a chance to witness and question any of the approaches. There will be coffee and refreshments. WEDNESDAY / 12th

RunOr will host an info meeting for everyone interested in becoming a representative in the Study Board. You get a chance to actually make some changes here, be the voice of your course mates, and try your best to make CBS Great Again (or should I say Great-er-ish). This is a pretty cool thing to do and you should definitely explore the possibility!

Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship invites you to a presentation called ‘Corporate Structure in Start-ups’ hosted by KPMG director aka CSE House Accountant aka Morten Høgh-Petersen. During the presentation you will discuss the time to register your company, tax considerations for it, how to deal with investors and what type of company is the most suitable approach to your business model. This can definitely put your book knowledge to more tangible perspective!

CBS Debating Society is hosting a presentation called ‘Taking notes efficiently under pressure’. We all take notes, and its such big part of the study process, hence its important to do it the best way possible. You will get tips and discuss different approaches towards note taking in a fast-paced scenario, such as lecture or a debate.

ISA invites you to yet another always packed and entertaining Quiz Night! No registration needed, just know answers to all the existential questions there are and/or have 2-5 friends that know it and show up to claim the wizards of the week awards.

THURSDAY / 13th

CBS Students are taking a stand and are inviting you to join them in a demonstration against educational cutbacks. In recent years there was a cutbacks in education proposed to be implemented within a foreseeable future. What does it mean for you? Well, decreased financing for CBS will force decrease in the quality of the studies, which can affect your daily life as well as CBS rating on the global level. Read more about in the link.

CEFA in collaboration with PwC are hosting a presentation where you will have a chance to meet one of the most successful M&A teams in Denmark – PwC’s Finance team. Guest speakers will give you an insight into the world of their workplace, tell you what their workday looks like and will bring other colleagues to make sure that all of your questions are answered on point. So if you’re into finance and want to know how your day might look just in a couple of years, you don’t want to miss this.

Uuuuh this is something. CBS Invest and the FinanceLab peeps have collaborated with Saxo Bank to launch Denmark’s largest Student Investment Competition! 500,000 DKK, SaxoTraderGO platform and a 4-week trading session will take off on the 17th of October where you have a chance to put your trading skills up for one hell of a challenge. Thursday there will be an event launch presented by Steen Jakobsen – Chief Economist at Saxo Bank, so make sure not to miss that!
