ASP STUDENTS: OPEN MEETING: PROPOSAL – ADDING LEGITIMACY TO ASP

ASP Students has invited all those interested to an open meeting regarding a restructuring to integrate ASP alumni more in their programme. They have a very diversified and highly competent alumni that they want to engage with, activate and get invovled as much as possible. In order to do so there has been a proposal for a new board structure where students and alumni work closely together in ASP Students where they are able to share crucial perspectives and experiences and create a strong and durable Asian Studies Programme. At the meeting we will discuss this proposal and whether or not to proceed further. Join them and have your say.

On Wednesday, we celebrate! On the 30 March 2006, what is now one of CBS’ biggest student organizations, CBS Sport, was established. 10 years on, it’s time to celebrate all their successes. CBS Sport invites all current and former members, friends, family, associate partners, sponsors, supporters and everybody in between to a reception at Solbjerg Plads in the cantina on the 2nd floor.There will be beers/sodas, champagne, delicious cake and a few speeches to mark CBS Sport’s milestone. CBS STUDENTS: LES DEUX – FROM A WHITE T-SHIRT TO ONE OF DENMARK’S MOST IMPORTANT CLOTHING BRANDS

On Thursday it’s story time! The founder of Les Deux, Andreas Von Der Heide, will be talking about his journey with the popular clothing brand. This is your opportunity to hear the story of a young entrepreneur. Andreas will be talking about the history and strategy of Les Deux, and explain how his personal experience has been – with law studies, school in Africa, becoming a father, participating in 250 running events, and Les Deux – All of the mentioned which he completed in just 5 years! Finally he will elaborate on the future of and visions of Les Deux.

FINANCELAB: BETONFINANCE BY FIBETCO AND FINANCELAB

Fibetco has developed a new betting product combining the “World of Finance” with the “World of Betting”. Participants at the event will be given a presentation which hopefully will leave them with  a lot of insight as to what to consider when you want to start your own company. Founder Jeff Saul has throughout his career been employed at large corporations, the latest being as Global head of equities at Saxo Bank and CEO of Euroinvestor. So he will also be speaking about the largest differences between being an employee and a founder. Isabella Charmi will talk about which considerations she did before choosing to work at a start up and how it is to work at Fibetco. Jeff Saul will then talk about the differences and similarities between the Banking and the Betting industries. To end the presentation,  Jeff Saul will give a brief introduction to the financial betting product BetOnFinance, taking you through his visions for the product and how the product works. Finally, a small competition will be held at the end, with the opportunity of winning exciting prizes.

AIESEC CBS/ITU: WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN INTERN: WITH PATRICK JONSSON

Patrick Jonsson-Sundøll, a recognized and published author who is currently working as the Manager of Sourcing and Business Strategy at Wolseley plc, a large multinational corporation, will be hosting a seminar at CBS on Thursday. Patrick will be sharing his own experience as a trainee in three different countries, together with advice on how to select a trainee program. Patrick joined the European Graduate Trainee Program in 2006, with rotations in Bedford (UK), Philadelphia (USA) and Copenhagen (Denmark). His incredible experience led him to write “The Trainee Program Guide” in 2014, which has since received outstanding reviews.

CBS DEBATING SOCIETY: COPENHAGEN OPEN 2016
