Bistro Avenue is located in the heart of Copenhagen, which is also reflected in the modern European-international restaurant and wine bar. The restaurant seats more than 100 people yet still maintains an exclusive and cozy atmosphere.

Copenhagen is full of good bistros. However, Bistro Avenue is not just another one of them. Rarely has a restaurant managed to look and feel so fabulous, yet still give a feel that it is very down to earth and that there is room for everyone.

The restaurant is highly focused on quality and creating a good experience for all visitors, and therefore makes every effort to accommodate food intolerance including especially gluten and lactose intolerants. Additionally, products are specially selected from specific manufacturers and with attention to season and ecological products. This makes the kitchen a guarantee of quality.

Bistro Avenue is not only an amazing restaurant, the place also offers a beautiful bar and a large outdoor seating area in the summer. Especially the bar is the perfect location for a post work drink. Avenue is however not just an evening restaurant but also offers a great lunch and a spectacular brunch.

The price makes a visit to Bistro Avenue a real coup. A good number of dishes can be bought in the price range 60-200 kr. and a few dishes can be bought for the price of 250-450 kr. You really get value for money at this restaurant.

If I were to describe the place in a few words, I would without hesitation say quality, honesty and down to earth. I was about to describe Bistro Avenue as one of Copenhagen’s restaurants setting the standard for the remaining bistros. However, the place really rests in itself and therefore does not need to be compared to other restaurants or wine bars.

This bistro will without a doubt be my go-to restaurant in Copenhagen – a place that I would love to come on a regular basis, feel like I treat myself while still feeling very comfortable. You must visit this place.
