Style Spotted: Staying Fresh Despite the Rain

While Copenhagen Business School is known for many great educational achievements, its reputation of stylish appearances is easily realized too when ‘people watching’ on campus. It’s safe to say that no matter which campus you find yourself on, there is a wide variety of styles to be spotted. For those not used to living in this, soon to be, ice tundra of the north, it can be difficult to know how to stay warm in Scandinavia. Although the idea of being wrapped in a goose down head-to-toe onesie sounds ideal, it may not be quite as socially accepted as one might hope.

So how do we stay warm, looking our best without channeling a wet sock puppet or a tenderly swathed infant? We go straight to the experts! Keeping it mostly fashion related (and of course a bit random for my own enjoyment), I presented some ‘on-point’ Scandinavian students with questions on just that, and here is what they had to say:

uhhh Ebola, it’s kinda big right now.

I would invest in the Siemens hearing aid department.

Anytime, except for this current moment.

Something between a whale and a kangaroo.

What is your best advice for staying fresh during rainy season?
Move out of Denmark!

When out on a Saturday night, what style attracts your attention?
Surfer-like and kind of grungy. (hmm might want to go back to Australia for that one)

Girls wearing leggings for pants, that’s not okay.

What is your favorite brand?
Either Noa Noa or Acne.

I would save it for later, or I would buy a Michael Kors watch.

When out on a Saturday night, what style attracts your attention?
Tall, I really like white teeth and kind of preppy.

What is your best advice for staying fresh during rainy season?
Always bring extra jeans in your bag! They get soaked when  biking.

What is the best Halloween costume you can come up with?
 A big sandwich. (Hope you aren’t planning on being a rye-bread sandwich Ziva, a Dane might just eat you)

What is your best advice for staying fresh during rainy season?
I don’t wear raincoats, got to look fab – raincoats make you look like you are from Jylland.

A plane ticket to Hamburg.

When out on a Saturday night, what style attracts your attention?
Casual jeans and a t-shirt with Nike Air Max on.

Best place to shop in Copenhagen?
I don’t shop in Denmark, I always do it when I am abroad.

Which trend do you wish you could stop seeing?
I want to say anything Ralph Lauren, but maybe really dressy shoes to school…it’s a bit much.

Which animal would you say describes your personality/style best?
A majestic stallion…need I say more?
